[සංස්කරණය]Simply type the word you would like to create an entry for into the "Search" box (usually displayed on the top right of your screen) and press Enter. This will either bring you to the entry if it already exists, or to a page informing you that no such entry exists. In the latter case, simply click the red link with the word that you are about to edit. An empty edit box will open up where you can type the desired entry content. For the format that we use, see Help:How to edit a page or Wiktionary:Tutorial. When you’re finished, use the "Show preview" button below the box to see what the page will look like. If the result is what you want, then click the "Save page" button at the bottom of the page. Congratulations, you've just created a new entry that is now live, visible, and editable by anyone.
